While going through one of the most difficult periods of my life after the birth of my baby boy, we spent a week in ICU. Each day as I waited to be allowed in, my heart heavy with worry, a painting caught my eye. I fell in love with it instantly. There was something about the colours, the softness, the quiet strength that wrapped around me and brought a sense of calm I so desperately needed in that moment. In a time filled with fear and uncertainty, that artwork became a small but powerful sense of comfort. The artist is nothing short of a magician. The way she captures emotion and transforms it into something so beautiful is extraordinary. We now have one of her pieces hanging in our living room, and it means more to us than words can express. We absolutely love it.

I love my Lana Evans painting so much. It evokes every happy memory of sunny days near the sea and never fails to lift my spirits. It is often in the background to my online meetings, and I get so many compliments on it. I wish I had one in every room!

I first discovered Lana's paintings around eight years ago, and from the moment I saw her work I felt an immediate connection. Since then, I've commissioned several pieces and collected many of her paintings, and today my home is filled with her art. Each piece has its own beauty and character, and every time I pass one it brings a little moment of joy. There's something very special about Lana's work. It has a warmth and emotion that really stays with you. She is an incredibly talented artist, and that talent, passion and heart shine through in every painting she creates.

Joy fills my heart as I walk down the stairs. I see peace as I look at my painting. I feel love in the colours and I smile.

The brightness and vibrancy of the colours that adorn the canvas are simply inescapable. My eye was drawn instantly and impulsively to the piece as I found (and still find) myself unable to look outside of the scene. As I'm transported outside of the four walls I am enclosed into the natural environment, conjuring the sights, sound and smells of the May explosion. I love art that takes me somewhere, art that places my imagination into a Goldilocks zone, where I can drift in and out of the edges and Lana's piece does exactly that.
